University of Colorado Denver’s Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) with a middle school math licensure program, will deepen your understanding of mathematics while learning how to engage students in meaningful learning experiences. Designed for students who hold a bachelor’s degree in a variety of fields, this graduate program supports you in pursuing your dream to be a teacher. Due to the rigorous nature of teacher preparation as guided by state and national accreditation standards, pre-planning steps are necessary before applying to the Teaching program. Please note that these steps must be taken and more time may be needed in order to meet specific deadlines.
