Sending Official Transcripts

Official transcripts should be sent from:

  1. Institutions granting previous degrees and
  2. Institutions from which courses have been taken that you wish to transfer into the program.

The application will have you upload an “unofficial” copy while we wait for your official copies to appear. In your checklist these will appear as “RECEIVED COPY,” this is not your “OFFICIAL COPY.”  Official copies will simply be reflected in the checklist as “RECEIVED.” The preferred method to have your school or university submit official transcripts is through a secured, electronic delivery system.  If your institution has the ability to send official transcripts electronically, please have them sent to SEHD.admissions@ucdenver.edu.

Electronic Transcripts

To be considered official, electronic transcripts must be sent from your institution directly to CU Denver and opened by one of our staff members. Transcripts that are sent to, opened by, and uploaded to the application by applicants are considered unofficial.

Hard Copy Transcripts

To be considered official, transcripts must arrive in the original, sealed envelopes from the school or university. Please have your transcripts mailed to the address below. It may take longer for the receipt of hard copies to be reflected in your application checklist.
