The BA in Education and Human Development in teaching and school leadership prepares you for a career as an educator and to earn one of many initial licensures. You may opt to apply to our BA to MA program which will allow you to apply nine credits of your BA program to an MA.

Bachelor of Arts in Education and Human Development, Early Childhood Education (License)

Degree Earned: BA License Classroom Type: Online and on campus classes Prepares future teachers to work in inclusive and diverse early learning environments with young children (infancy through age eight). Graduates attain practices that embrace the whole child in culturally and linguistically diverse public school or community-based early childhood education settings, emphasizing family-centered practices.

Minor in Teacher Education

Degree Earned: Minor Classroom Type: Online and on campus classes Are you planning on teaching after graduation? The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) has partnered with the School of Education & Human Development (SEHD) to enable undergraduates to get a jumpstart on their teaching careers. When you join CU Denver’s Teacher Education minor, you gain access to a 4+1 program that helps you earn your CLAS major, a Master’s in Teaching, and a Colorado Teaching License in five years.
