The University of Colorado Denver's Learning Design and Technology (LDT) program offers graduate and undergraduate opportunities:

The LDT program focuses on the use of learning design and technology to better support learning and engagement in a variety of settings. LDT students complete fully online courses that address relevant, emerging learning design and technology topics such as inclusive and accessible design, design justice, open and critical digital pedagogy, creative digital media design and development, blended and online teaching and learning, and leadership for learning design and technology.

Degree Earned: EdD Classroom Type: Fully Online The Learning Design concentration engages doctoral students in the creation, implementation, and study of learning design, learner-centered design approaches, and design-justice practices across academic, corporate, and community settings. Doctoral coursework is grounded in literature about equity-oriented learning; principles of design justice and learner-centered design; the impact of learning design on individuals and communities; and design-based research methods. Students who pursue this concentration are guided to implement doctoral research that centers the role and value of lived experience and directly influences real-world problems of professional practice.The LDT program has taught me and exposed me to a lot of experiences useful in my career. First, I joined the program in the hope that I would learn the technology and design that I would apply in my classes. I achieved this objective as I have learned multiple tools and creative design skills I did not know at the beginning of a program. Also, I have had the opportunity to interact with multiple professionals and qualified instructional designers, from whom I learned a lot, including instruction designs, learning models, and website designs that would suit many learners, among others. Therefore, I’m highly certain that the skills and experiences I have acquired in this program will blend in well with the job requirements and responsibilities in my career.
