Build the knowledge and skills to engage and support diverse learners and communities. The Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education (CLDE) minor explores how language, identity, and culture shape educational experiences and prepares you to create inclusive, responsive learning environments.

Students explore the relationship between language, identity, and power while gaining insight into how schools and public institutions impact diverse communities. They build the skills to apply inclusive, culturally responsive approaches, examine bilingual education and multilingual development, and develop a strengths-based perspective for working effectively with students and families.
Minor requirements
- Earn a minimum grade of C (2.0) in all courses
- Complete at least 9 credits at CU Denver
- Obtain approval for any transfer coursework
