MA Endorsement

What kinds of technology-mediated experiences will they have? This master's option in Digital Media for Teaching and Learning plus endorsement for K-12 teachers will equip you to provide leadership to your school or district - using learning technologies that are already changing how people learn.

What you’ll learn

Our School of Education and Human Development is among the top education schools according to U.S. News and World Report. This MA focuses on the use of learning technology to better support student learning and engagement, collaborate with colleagues and school administration, communicate and work with students’ families.

Licensed teachers will qualify for a Colorado endorsement in Instructional Technology. Through a variety of projects and experiences, you will integrate learning technologies into your daily teaching activities and demonstrate the impact on students' achievement - and help fellow teachers do the same. 

Begin any time, including summer. Courses meet entirely online. 

Outstanding faculty are dedicated to your academic and professional growth. Through project work you will build a professional network of contacts and supports, including other teachers and specialists.

Application Requirements

  • 3 recommendation letters
  • Official Transcripts from all institutions attended
  • If applying for an endorsement, a copy of your Teaching License is required
  • Resume/CV
  • Written Statement: Describe your interest in the program, your special strengths, and the goals you hope to achieve through your work in the program
  • $50.00 application fee
  • International Applicants only: Proof of English Language Proficiency (International applicants should review the following information regarding English language proficiency)
  • Admissions Interview: An interview may be required as part of the admissions process. If so, applicants will be contacted with more details.

Additional Requirements

If you're considered a non-resident student and are living outside the state of Colorado, there's a financial advantage to taking all of your CU Denver courses online. The discounted online rate is 120% of the resident rate. This amount is higher than the standard in-state tuition, but significantly lower than the non-resident tuition amount.
