Peralta, Danielle

Danielle Peralta

Academic Advisor

Danielle earned her Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and her Master’s in Higher Education Administration from Boston University. She is a first-generation college graduate and has been working in a variety of higher education offices (academic advising, career advising, and undergraduate student services) since 2016. She found her love for supporting students during her senior internship in college and hasn’t looked back since.

As a professional in higher education, Danielle specializes in academic coaching, academic advising, and supporting first-generation college students.

When she isn’t on campus, Danielle enjoys seeing live music, traveling to new places near and far, and hanging out with her family, friends, and her sweet cat Luna Mae.

Once you’ve logged into UCDAccess, you can also log in to your CU Denver email account and Canvas.  Email is the official means of communication for CU Denver.  SEHD will only send communications to your  CU Denver email account Please use only your CU Denver email when communicating with Academic and Faculty Advisors.


UCD Access Portal - used to register for classes, pay bills, apply for graduation, view unofficial transcripts, accept financial aid awards, apply for scholarships, and more.

How to search by class number

 


Canvas is the online learning management system.

  1. Please take a look at the CU Online page for a quick video introduction on how to use canvas.
  2. Refer to Instructure's Canvas Student Guide for more in depth instructions.

A few notes about Canvas

  • Allows you to access course material, submit assignments, and engage in classes
  • All online and hybrid classes and some on-campus classes will use Canvas (Please contact your instructor if you do not have access to your online or hybrid course through Canvas by the first day of the semester.)
  • Fully online courses are NOT self-paced
  • Your Canvas Inbox is separate from your CU Denver email
  • There’s also a Canvas App, available for download on IOS and Android platforms.

Zoom is an online conferencing tool available to all students, staff, and faculty.

Hours: Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-4pm while classes are in session
