School of Education & Human Development Alumni Scholarship

Up to $1000 per student awarded to a minimum of one student per academic year

Scholarship criteria: You must already be accepted to a degree program within the School of Education & Human Development and have an undergraduate or Post-Baccalaureate GPA of 3.3 or better. Your essay demonstrates how the applicant has advocated for individuals from culturally diverse environments and/or disadvantaged conditions.

School of Education & Human Development Scholarship Fund

Award amounts vary depending on available funds. Awards will be made to a minimum of one student per academic year. This scholarship supports students in the School of Education & Human Development at the University of Colorado Denver.

School of Education and Human Development PhD Research Assistantship

Awarded to incoming PhD students. Recipients are notified via their admit letter. This scholarship is not in ScholarLynx.

Virginia T. Schuman Scholarship for Doctoral Students

Admitted and enrolled in a doctoral program within the School of Education & Human Development, with a minimum of 5 credit hours. Colorado residents who demonstrate financial need and maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Your special essay should address financial need (elaborate on any life events or financial burdens which will impact your ability to continue with your education) and highlight your academic potential and/or accomplishments. Must have FAFSA on file.
