Books
The Transformative Student Voice research collective at CU, including SEHD’s Carlos Hipolito Delgado, PhD, professor of counseling, Dane Stickney, PhD, assistant teaching professor in ASPIRE to Teach, together with former SEHD colleague Shelley Zion, PhD and CU Bouder colleague Ben Kirshner, published two books with Harvard Education Press in 2025.

Noteworthy Book Chapters
Margarita Bianco, EdD, associate professor in special education and founder of Pathways2Teaching), Robin Brandehoff, PhD, assistant professor in educational foundations) Marvin Lynn, PhD, Dean, Madhavi Tandon, PhD, senior instructor, and antwan jefferson, PhD, associate dean for instructional and inclusive excellence and associate teaching professor) contributed to a special edition of State Education Standard (NASBE, 2025) titled The Educators Students Deserve: Four State Policy Approaches.
Robin Brandehoff, PhD, assistant professor in educational foundations, contributed two chapters:

Cristina Gillanders, associate professor in early childhood education, contributed Using Culturally Sustaining Literature for Latino Children in the Early Childhood Classroom in Multicultural Literature for Latino Bilingual Children: Their Words, Their Worlds, Second Edition (Bloomsbury Publishing, 2025).
Elena Sandoval-Lucero, PhD, assistant teaching professor in the Leadership for Educational Organizations program, co-authored Considering Informal Caregivers’ Needs in Palliative Care and Bereavement: Making the Case for Family-Centered Care in Cancer Diagnosis, Treatment and Care: Reflections for the Education of Survivors and Healthcare Providers (IGI Global, 2025).
Kent Seidel, PhD, founding co-director of the Center for Practice Engaged Education Research, authored Chapter 2, Stages of Concern: Perspectives on Engaging with Innovation, and Julie Oxenford-O’Brian, PhD, co-director of the Center for Practice Engaged Education Research, authored Chapter 9 Using CBAM to Study Implementation of Innovation in PreK-12 Districts, in The Concerns Based Adoption Model (CBAM): Constructs, Evidence, Applications, and Implications for Facilitating Change (Sage, 2025).
Elizabeth Steed, professor in early childhood special education, co-authored two chapters in The Preschool Inclusion Toolbox, Second Edition (Paul H. Brookes, 2025):
