Measurement is vital to the social science field as we study people’s aptitude, learning achievements, experiences, personality traits, and states of being. University of Colorado Denver’s Applied Measurement certificate will develop your expertise in combining measurement theories, statistical modeling techniques, and human behavior observations. Learn to use, create, and validate measures through Classical Test Theory and Item Response Theory. Work with real data in applied environments: education, policy, counseling, and psychology fields. Students learn to write for publication and to communicate results to practitioners in the field.
