Learn the fundamentals of leadership coaching for equitable practice, including how to create the conditions to explore equity issues within professional coaching relationships, how to help leaders build upon their strengths as leaders, and how to support leaders in creating actionable plans to achieve their goals.

The Executive Coaching for Equity Certificate is a professional, non-degree certificate designed for leaders within learning organizations, school districts, and institutions of higher education. Our approach at the University of Colorado Denver is to support working professionals in an engaging, blended format of monthly modules completed through asynchronous and live, interactive webinar sessions. Our research-based curriculum of best practices in leadership coaching for equitable practice is aligned with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) requirements and coaching competencies.

Application Requirements

  • Resume
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Write a 500-word statement or share a 5 minute video sharing more about your professional self and answer the following questions:
    • What are the dispositions, beliefs, and skills an effective Executive Coach needs to begin an Executive Coaching in Equity program?
    • What strengths do you bring as a participant in this coaching program?
  • Agree to a possible, follow-up interview
