The National P-3 Center focuses on the learning opportunities that young children experience from birth through 3rd grade. Our work spans the traditional boundaries of early care and education (ECE) and K-12 education and is grounded in the intersection of research, practice, and policy.

In partnership with states, school districts, and local communities, we use three core strategies to achieve our mission: [1] provide leadership and professional learning opportunities; [2] offer support and resources to guide effective implementation of policy and practice; and [3] engage in innovative research that helps to deepen understanding of P-3.
