Why the Bachelor of Arts to Master of Arts in Education and Human Development program at CU Denver?

Earn Your Undergrad and Grad Degree in as Little as Five Years

Advance your career quickly. The typical two-to-three-year period that is required to earn a master’s degree may be decreased to as little as one year from the date a student receives a bachelor’s degree. Pursuing an MA early in your career will allow you to deepen your expertise, advance your career goals and position you for leadership in your field.

Increase your earning power while saving money

You will save money by completing nine graduate credits at the undergraduate tuition rate during your senior year which will double count toward your BA and your MA degree credit hours. You will already have nine credits in a 30*credit master’s program, so you do not pay MA tuition costs for nine credits (three courses).

Emphasis on Social Justice

Lead in your field with a social justice lens. The BAMA provides graduates with the skills to teach in a social justice framework, work with diverse learners, and engage in high-quality instruction and assessment.
