Education and Human Development - BA to MA

Degree Earned: BA MA This program is an accelerated path to an MA. It is designed to allow CU Denver students to complete both an undergraduate degree in Education and Human Development and a master’s degree in as little as five years.

Master of Arts in Teaching, Social Studies (License)

Degree Earned: MA License Prepares individuals to teach in diverse middle and high school classrooms and expand students' worldviews, support a global perspective, and deepen critical thinking and analysis skills. Features a residency program perfected and proven through almost 30 years of ongoing work with partner schools.

Master of Arts in Teaching, Secondary Science (License)

Degree Earned: MA License Prepares educators to teach science to diverse adolescents and promote their appreciation for scientific discovery. Features a proven and perfected residency program with partner schools. Graduates gain in-depth knowledge and skills that allow them to make science meaningful to their students.

Master of Arts in Teaching, Special Education Generalist (License)

Degree Earned: MA License Prepares individuals to instruct students of varying abilities in diverse elementary, middle, and high school classrooms, using an assets-based approach. Graduates are equipped to identify and champion the strengths and assets of children with differing abilities.

Master of Arts in Teaching, Secondary Math (License)

Degree Earned: MA License Prepares educators to become effective, knowledgeable, and technology-savvy math teachers. Features a proven and perfected residency program with partner schools. Graduates are equipped with state-of-the-art mathematics pedagogies, technology integration and reaching diverse students.
