Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education

Degree Earned: MA Prepares educators to work in inclusive and diverse early learning environments with young children (infancy through age eight). Graduates gain practices that embrace the whole child in culturally and linguistically diverse public school or community-based early childhood education settings, emphasizing family-centered practices. It is offered in on-campus, hybrid, or fully online formats. This MA does not lead to a license or endorsement.

Master of Science in Mathematics Education

Degree Earned: MS Designed for licensed teachers who want to delve into mathematics theory while developing research-based teaching practices that support students' mathematics learning.

Education and Human Development - BA to MA

Degree Earned: BA MA This program is an accelerated path to an MA. It is designed to allow CU Denver students to complete both an undergraduate degree in Education and Human Development and a master’s degree in as little as five years.

Educational Specialist in Leadership for Educational Organizations, Principal (License)

Degree Earned: EdS License Designed for individuals whose next career goal is to become a school principal. It is well-suited for individuals who already have a master's degree plus a teaching license or a master's degree with a special services license. Graduates receive the skills critical to success as a leader and to encourage diversity, equity, and social justice at elementary, middle, or high schools.

Undergraduate Certificate in Pathways2Teaching, Paraprofessional

Degree Earned: Undergraduate Certificate Strives to create a new generation of community-responsive educators as it begins the journey for high school juniors and seniors to become teachers. Students earn transferable college credits toward a teaching degree. The program helps meet the demand for teachers in urban and rural communities and address a lack of diversity in the teacher workforce.
