How to Apply | BA to MA Program

These steps are for students who are completing their BA and are interested in continuing on to the MA program.

How do I start my MA program?

Applying to your master's program via our “abbreviated” application is a quick and easy process!
Your admission to begin your master’s degree will be for the specific term you choose.  If you do not register for course(s) for the selected term, you will need to defer your admission to an upcoming term within one year.

The “abbreviated” Master’s application can be used if you plan to begin the MA within 3 years of graduating with your bachelor’s degree.  If you do not begin the MA within 3 years, you will instead need to submit the full application to the MA (instead of the shorter, abbreviated graduation application.)  There is a 7-year time limit to finish the MA from when you took your first 5000 level class.

If you initially opted in to the BAMA but did not register for the BAMA courses (the graduate 5000-level courses) in your Professional Year, then you do not qualify to fill out the “modified” application.
