Dr. Jennifer Fox serves as Executive Director of CU Denver’s ASPIRE to Teach® program, the university’s alternative teacher licensure pathway that partners with over 50 Colorado school districts. A former classroom teacher, instructional coach, and ASPIRE faculty member, Dr. Fox is passionate about creating accessible, high-quality preparation routes for diverse educators entering the profession through nontraditional means. She leads ASPIRE’s strategic initiatives related to program design, licensure compliance, partnership development, and faculty support.

Her work focuses on aligning university-based preparation with real-world teaching contexts, ensuring candidates receive the mentoring, coursework, and feedback necessary to thrive in today’s classrooms. Dr. Fox also contributes to state and national conversations on teacher workforce development and alternative licensure policy, advocating for systems that strengthen teacher pipelines while maintaining high standards of practice.
