Dr. Romani is a licensed psychologist and board-certified behavior analyst, doctoral. He primarily works within the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Romani delivers clinical services for youth with neurodevelopmental disabilities engaging in severe problem behavior within the Pediatric Behavior Clinic in the Division of Developmental Pediatrics at Children's Hospital Colorado. He has led the Applied Behavior Analysis program at the University of Colorado at Denver since 2018 and teaches SPED 5480.

Research

The Behavior Analysis Research Team at the University of Colorado conducts research in two general areas. First, we work to identify methods to translate best practices into community settings. We partner with communities and school teams across the state of Colorado to support them with providing high-quality services to autistic children. Second, we conduct research that leverages machine learning and artificial intelligence to understand predictors of severe problem behavior as well as variables contributing to treatment outcome.
