Connie Fulmer joined the School of Education & Human Development in 2000 and collaborated with principals from partner Denver Metro area school districts to develop a standards-based, performance- assessed principal licensure program.

Prior to coming to CU Denver, Fulmer was a teacher in the Juniata County School District in Pennsylvania. She started her academic career as an Assistant Professor at Northern Illinois University. Dr. Fulmer’s research efforts are focused on school administrators and their professional development. Her published scholarship is located in three inquiry-focused areas: (a) scholarship on technology and information systems for school administrators, (b) scholarship on developing quality preparation programs for principals, and (c) scholarship related to identifying leadership practices of principals leading successful highly-impacted schools.
