ECED 6320: A Colorado Interpretation of the Reggio Emilia Approach

This course focuses on the Reggio Approach to Early Childhood Education and its interpretation in a Colorado context, Boulder Journey School. Students will experience three modules, each with cycles of inquiry, construction of understandings, application into their own context and mediation by course instructor.

This is a unique, interactive, online course that examines the philosophical approach of the schools of young children in both Reggio Emilia and Boulder Journey School. 

Completion of this course is the first step in the ECE Pedagogy certificate and may also be used towards the Innovative Online MA with Bouder Journey School.
