Readmission

Undergraduate

If you have not enrolled for three consecutive semesters, you must submit a new application through the University Admissions office. Questions may be directed to:

admissions@ucdenver.edu or 303-315-2601

Graduate (Masters, EdS, Licensure, Endorsements) and Doctoral

Readmission applies to students who started a degree program and did not finish.

If you have completed a degree and would like to pursue an additional degree, you will need to apply for the additional degree as a new student.

We strive to provide rolling decisions* in which we communicate admissions decisions to applicants within two weeks of submitting a complete application.

Please be aware that completing a readmission application does not guarantee readmission. Programs reserve the right to require additional documentation for readmission consideration. Applicants are notified by email if they have met the requirements for readmission or if additional documentation is required.

Once readmitted, contact your academic advisor to discuss your program plan and/or course selection. If you are unsure who your academic advisor is, please email SEHDacademicservices@ucdenver.edu or call 303-315-6300 and we’ll put you in touch with the correct advisor.

If you will not be registered for any other courses in the term you are readmitted and you are graduating in your term of readmission, you must register for CAND 5940 “Candidate for Degree.” Please contact your advisor for instructions for how to enroll in CAND 5940. You will be billed at one credit hour of tuition plus the Student Information System fee and the Information Technology fee. Tuition and Fee information can be found on the Bursar's website.

*Our Counseling, EdD, PhD, PsyD, MAT + Teacher Licensure programs operate under strict deadlines and do not provide rolling decisions. Readmission for these programs may take longer to process.
