Support the School

Your gift to the CU Denver School of Education & Human Development strengthens our ability to deliver student scholarships, world-class research, innovative academic programs, and evidence-based practice and policy. We are thankful for gifts of any size to support our mission.

WAYS TO GIVE

There are many ways to support our school. The easiest is to use our secure giving website created by the CU Foundation. We also welcome gifts of assets, such as stocks, bonds or real estate, and planned gifts, such as bequests or annuities. You can even give support to a specific SEHD program.

Donate assets

A donation of appreciated securities or mutual funds in support of our mission can reduce or even eliminate federal capital gains taxes on the transfer. You may also be entitled to a federal income tax charitable deduction based on the fair market value of the securities at the time of the transfer. A donation of real estate, such as a personal residence, vacation home, farm, commercial property, or undeveloped land helps us continue our work for years to come. And a gift of real estate also helps you. When you donate appreciated property you have held longer than one year, you qualify for a federal income tax charitable deduction and you may minimize or eliminate capital gains tax. And you no longer have to deal with that property's maintenance costs, property taxes or insurance. Interested in making an asset-related gift to the School of Education & Human Development?
