University of Colorado Denver’s Master of Arts in Literacy Education with a concentration in English education prepares educators to work with diverse adolescents as they develop an appreciation for literature and writing. In this program, you will study contemporary, multicultural and classic literature as well as the learning and development of reading and writing. Our goal is to help you have a transformative impact on student learning, creativity and achievement, while also supporting you as an innovator in your school and professional networks. As part of this program, you will learn to fully engage students in you classroom by exploring:

Additional Information
We welcome applications from individuals who have a strong interest in bringing hands-on English learning to their students. The MA in Literacy with a concentration in English education is a two to three-year hybrid program.
A teaching license is not required for this program, but is required to access students.
