  1. Submit a Graduate CPE Non-degree application to CU Denver (You may be able to skip this step if you are a current student at CU Denver)
    1. Go to the admissions website. Scroll down; select “Log in” if you have ever taken a course in the CU system OR if you have already started an application; select “Create an account” if you are brand-new to CU.
    2. Complete and submit your application. Be sure to select Continuing & Professional Education, Graduate, and Non-Degree whenever you are asked to choose the type of application or course. (Hint: if you are charged a $50 application fee, you are completing the wrong application! The CPE non-degree application is free.) If at any point you need help, please call our office at 303-315-5000 during regular business hours (Mon-Thur 9:00AM-5PM; F 9:00AM-4PM). When you call, please be at your computer and have about 20 minutes available.
  2. Register for your course
    • If you are registering before 5PM on 4/12/2021, please register ONLINE via UCD Access:
      1. Sign in to UCD Access, using the username provided in the email you received and the password that you created at the beginning of the application process.
      2. In the Student tab, click Registration/Records and select Register for Classes
      3. Select the term: Spring 2021
      4. Verify personal information and agree to Tuition Payment Disclosure
      5. Enter your five-digit class number (see above) into the field Class Nbr and click Enter
      6. Verify course information and click Next
      7. Select classes from your shopping cart and click Proceed to Step 2 of 4
      8. Click Finish Enrolling and look for a green check mark
    • If you are registering after 4/12/2021, you will need permission to enroll. Please contact the CPE office at for assistance.
  3. Pay your Tuition
    • You must be enrolled in the course before submitting payment. Do not wait to receive a bill! The university sends bills to your CU Denver email account only. Please submit payment by one of the following methods: 
      • Online: Log into the UCD Access student portal. Click on Pay Your Bill.
      • By mail: Check your balance in the UCD Access student portal ( Make your check payable to University of Colorado Denver. Write your student ID number on the check and mail to:
