We understand that the transition to fully online courses may be challenging for some of you and that you may be considering withdrawing from a class.
PLEASE DO NOT WITHDRAW FROM A COURSE(S) WITHOUT FIRST CONSULTING WITH YOUR ACADEMIC ADVISOR!
We encourage you to take an incomplete as this will help you move along in your program. Given the quick transition to fully online courses, the university is asking faculty to be flexible with students and to accommodate requests as much as possible. SEHD faculty have been asked to grant incomplete grades in cases where students may be struggling in the online environment or are having technology issues but have already completed a significant portion of the course.
Withdraws may also negatively affect your financial aid. Please speak with a financial aid advisor prior to withdrawing.
Reach out to your advisor and your instructor if you’ve applied for Spring 2020 graduation but have concerns about course completion.
Students should request an Incomplete grade with their instructor using the Incomplete Grade Application Form.
At this point the university is not offering refunds specifically related to the Coranavirus shift to online. However, if you have other questions about refunds, please contact the Bursar’s Office.
