Brad is a career educator and technologist with over two decades of experience teaching, learning, and thinkering with digital media and digital pedagogies. He holds a BA in Journalism, an MA in Mass Communications and has worked in K-12 and Institutions of Higher Education (IHE) in Texas, Louisiana, California, Oregon, and Colorado. Brad has also worked on a variety of state and federal initiatives including eArmyU, the Virtual College of Texas, and the California Virtual Campus. He works closely and regularly with several national learning communities including EDUCAUSE, the Digital Pedagogy Lab, the Online Learning Consortium and The Future of Storytelling.

Brad serves several roles within the CU Denver School of Education and Human Development with responsibilities for Information Technology (IT) operations and development of online and hybrid programs throughout the school. He also serves as an instructor in the Learning Design & Technology program.

Brad also provides leadership to ThinqStudio, a CU faculty think-tank and learning design studio. ThinqStudio works in concert with the Center for Faculty Deveopment and the Office of Digital Education to lead digital education initiatives across campus.
